Solid Mindi wood frame with underside bracing ensures the Corsican is a long lasting, functional piece. Both damaged stools have a crack in the wood making up one leg; it is recommended that these flaws be watched for growth. They currently do not cause any significant alteration to the stools beyond aesthetics, but if they grow over time it can be a cause of the legs failing to hold.
